The figures below are approximate off-peak driving times published on the official community travel-time graphic. Peak-hour trips on the 400 corridor will naturally run longer.

Four minutes to Highway 400 is the headline
Teston Road was rebuilt between Pine Valley and Weston into a four-lane arterial with sidewalks, cycling paths, lighting and full servicing, specifically to carry growth in this part of Vaughan. That upgrade is what makes a four-minute run to the Highway 400 interchange realistic rather than optimistic.
From the 400, the 407 ETR is another few minutes south, which is why the graphic lists it at eight minutes. Households with one commuter heading downtown and another heading east or west across the GTA get two very different highway options from the same driveway.
Seventeen minutes to Pearson changes who buys here
A 17-minute run to Toronto Pearson is unusual for a community this far north, and it matters for two groups in particular: people who travel for work regularly, and families with relatives abroad. It also supports resale demand, since airport proximity is one of the few location attributes that never goes out of style.
Canada's Wonderland at nine minutes and Vaughan Mills at ten cover the weekend side of the equation — entertainment, big-box retail, cinemas and dining without leaving the city.
Kleinburg at seven minutes: the lifestyle anchor
Kleinburg Village is the character neighbour to the northwest — the McMichael Canadian Art Gallery, Main Street restaurants, the Humber trail system and some of the most expensive resale housing in Vaughan. Buying at Bridgelands puts that lifestyle seven minutes away at freehold new-build pricing rather than Kleinburg resale pricing.
That gap between adjacent-neighbourhood pricing and new-community pricing is one of the more durable arguments for buying early here.
What the drive-time map doesn't show
Two transit connections sit outside the graphic but belong in any honest commute assessment: Rutherford GO Station on the Barrie line, roughly ten minutes south, and the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre subway terminus on TTC Line 1, about twelve minutes away with a roughly 45-minute ride to Union Station.
